Each crew member shall not have attained his 22nd birthday before or on 31.12.2014 (i.e. born in 1993 or later)

Local Information Gdynia can rightfully be referred to as the sailing capital of Poland. Every year a number of events of national, European, World or Olympic scale are held here. This is due to the excellent conditions in terms of both, the wind and the infrastructure. Local residents and tourists can watch the races while walking along the beach or the promenade (Bulwar Nadmorski) – nearly two kilometres long.

Host Venue Marina of Gdynia is the yacht harbour being the part of the Premiere Waterfront District i.e. area located along the Bay of Gdańsk and the forested cliffy coast 10 minutes walking distance from the center of Gdynia. Oceans museum on-the-water museums: tall-ship "Dar Pomorza" and a warship "Błyskawica" sandy beaches, seaside boulevard and music theatre are undoubtedly splendid touristic and recreational attractions of this part of the city. Marina of Gdynia due to its unique location deserves special attention. The most popular cultural, recreational and sport events as sailing regattas and other spectacular performances used to be organised in this area. Travel to Gdynia Gdynia can be easily reached by sea on a regular ferry connection between Gdynia and Karlskrona in Sweden on board of one of almost a hundred passenger cruisers or liners. Gdańsk – Trójmiasto Airport with regular national and international flights is located within 20 minutes drive. You can also reach Gdynia by train connections and international roads.
Weather Winds during July and August are predominantly NE and E sea breezes with an afternoon range of 10-15 knots. Prevailing winds get a chance to built up bigger waves up to (1.5 metres). Occasional rains and strong winds may cover the area. Some westerly winds coming onto sea can bring strong squalls of shifty wind for short periods and relatively flat water. The venue offers a safe sailing harbor not complemented by tidal currents. Average water temperature - 19 Centigrade approx. Daily temperature varies between 16 and 27 Centigrade. Daylight hours will be approximately 16 hours per day.
