Final Day - Trofeo Princesa Sofia
It was Last Chance Friday at the Trofeo Princesa Sofia IBEROSTAR. The Olympic classes regatta on the Bay of Palma offered the final opportunity for European nations to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Regatta in August and today's last Finals races saw some dreams of Rio glory kept alive, whilst others were washed away in the heavy spring rainfall and unsettling winds.

RYA Youth Nationals doublehanded low down

During the lead up to the Olympics when you are in a dominant position it is important to keep the pressure on your rivals imposing your advantage on each and every occasion. That was evident on the first day of the Trofeo Princesa Sofia IBEROSTAR where France's four-times Nacra 17 world champions Billy Besson and Marie Riou composed a perfect opening day with three back-to- back race wins in brisk, near ideal Bay of Palma conditions.

2016 Round Hayling Island Race - Preview
With a record advance entry and a few spaces left, the 2016 Round Hayling Island Race is all set for a great event on Good Friday 25th March. Starting from Hayling Island Sailing Club, the 14 mile circumnavigation is open to WIndsurfers, Outrigger Canoes and Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUPs). For those looking for a slightly easier challenge there are shorter courses within the confines of Chichester and Langstone Harbours.
