Come and Join the 470 Class at the Pre-Worlds Racing Clinic
Going to the 2010 Delta Lloyd 470 World Championships, then why not sign up for the pre-Championship 470 Racing Clinic with 470 appointed coach Andreas Kosmatopoulos (GRE).
Following on from our succesful racing and coaching clinics in 2009, 470 Internationale is pleased to provide the opportunity for a last bit of coaching and training led by leading 470 coach Kosmatopoulos at the 470 World Championships taking place in The Hague, The Netherlands. Andreas Kosmatopoulos (GRE) is a renowned 470 sailor and multiple World and European 470 Class Champion.
Taking place for three days – 6, 7 and 8 July – the plan is to have onshore and on the water coaching and practice races.
Entries will be limited, and allocated on a first come first served basis, to a maximum of 30 entries for men and 25 entries for women. Late entries shall be accepted on site at the venue, only if there are free places available, and again on a first come first served basis.
An entry fee of EUR15 per crew shall be paid as a contribution towards the clinic.
Andreas Kosmatopoulos initiated the idea of the three-day Racing Clinic, to really focus on the final preparations and race training. Most teams going to a World Championships are extremely well prepared and the Racing Clinic is designed to focus on delivering training races.
Prizes will be awarded to the first 3 men's and the first 3 women's teams in the training races.
If you would like to apply for a place, which are on a first come first served basis please complete the Racing Clinic Application Form and email it to solidarity@470.org by 1 July 2010.
