It’s Mee who wins again at the Brass Monkey, but only by a second. With storms Barbara and Conor lining up to batter the UK over Christmas it was looking touch and go for The Brass Monkey at Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club - the third round of the GJW Direct SailJuice Winter Series. With less than 30 places remaining, the 100-boat limit for the Datchet Flyer is filling up fast. Taking place on 10&11 December below Heathrow’s flight path and a few stones throws from Windsor Castle, the second event in the GJW Direct SailJuice Winter Series is also the first of the three events in the Winter Cat Series. Craig Williamson sailed a blinder of a series in his Laser to win the Fernhurst Books Draycote Dash, the opening event of the GJW Direct Sailjuice Winter Series.
