The Lord Birkett Memorial Trophy at Ullswater Yacht Club has been shortlisted for Cumbria Tourism Event of the Year, the first time a sailing club has been featured in the awards.
The event is one of four finalists and the winner is decided by public vote through the Cumbria Tourism website. The club is urging all Birkett lovers to vote by the closing date, June 6:
